Based on the figure above, you can determine the pressure and air flow rate of the air compressor according to the target bore diameter and depth specified in your project brief, and select the appropriate air compressor model. For example, if the target depth is w × 100 m, based on our many years of industry experience, you can choose a w × 10 bar air compressor. Provided the specifications are accurate, this air compressor can generally drill a hole with a diameter of 203 mm and a depth of w × 100 m. If the bore diameter is larger, the depth will be less than w*100m; if the bore diameter is smaller, the depth will be greater than w*100m.

In addition to these two parameters, you can also select the engine type, emission class, whether the unit is skid-mounted, and whether it features variable-frequency starting, among other options.
