Today we gonna say, there is another Chinese state-owned enterprise, an air compressor manufacturer in Liuzhou: Liugong (Liuzhou) Compressor Co., Ltd., Liugong Compressor. Its predecessor was the Liuzhou Compressor General Plant. While LiuTech is backed by a world-leading air compressor brand, Liugong Compressor is supported by the Chinese state-owned enterprise Liugong Group and is majority-owned by Guangxi Liugong Machinery Co., Ltd. As a result, it possesses a strong technical foundation and extensive industry experience.
On May 31, the 2026 Liugong 5·28 Global Customer Festival kicked off in grand style in Liuzhou, Guangxi. The event brought together more than 1,200 guests from over 50 countries and regions around the world to witness the innovative achievements of Liugong’s digital and intelligent transformation and its journey toward carbon neutrality.

Liugong Group, the parent company of Liugong Air Compressors, operates an independent global R&D center. The Smart Manager control system, developed by Liugong’s Electronic Technology Research Institute, features information display, report generation, fault diagnosis, geolocation, trajectory tracking, geofencing, remote control, and credit management functions.
Support for 8 major world languages has been developed, along with 3 operating modes.
Russian, Turkish, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, Thai, English, and French have been fully developed.
Three operating modes have been implemented, including single-operating-condition, dual-operating-condition, and triple-operating-condition.
Beside introducing the basic product lineup and features, as well as demonstrating the performance of other product lines, Liugong Air Compressor staff also briefed us on their in-depth collaboration with Yuchai, a leading Chinese engine manufacturer. Most air compressor manufacturers purchase existing engine models directly from engine manufacturers such as Cummins, Yuchai, and Weichai.
